River Vale Travel Baseball and Softball
Our River Vale Revolution Travel programs offer a fun way for kids to play baseball in a more competitive way against other towns. Depending on the level, Travel seasons are held in Spring (April-June), Summer (June-August), and Fall (September-October).
Tryouts typically occur in the Spring - any player registered in our Recreational program are eligible for consideration. Where the level of interest allows it, multiple teams will be offered to maximize the number of kids who can participate.

The River Vale Revolution Travel baseball program is open to kids in grades 2-8 during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. Teams are as follows:
- 7u Coach Pitch
- 8u
- 9u
- 10u
- 11u
- 12u
- 13u
- 14u

River vale revolution TRAVEL SOFTBALL PROGRAMS
The River Vale Revolution Travel softball program is open to kids in grades 1-8 during the Summer and Fall seasons. Teams are as follows:
- Grade 1/2
- Grade 3/4
- 12u
- 14u

Baseball Tryout Information
Effective January 2023 Revolution Travel Baseball will start a new process for selecting teams.
Ages 9u and above with multiple teams
An evaluation can be conducted for every travel season the coaches feel necessary. Kids develop at different times so this gives them a chance to show their growth through the year. Also, kids will not feel pressured to play every season if they choose to play other sports. For example, if “Billy” wants to play football in the Fall, he can skip the Summer evaluation and simply try out again for Spring the following year.
Ages 9u and above with one team
Travel coaches decide if an evaluation is needed season by season.
Ages 8u and below
An evaluation MUST be conducted during the spring for summer season. Depending on interest 2 teams will be made starting in the summer. The team the child is placed on in the summer will be their team for the summer and fall travel seasons until they reach 9u. No child will be cut from 8u.
